Rita Rathod
Rita is a Partner and is head of the Family Department with over 10 years experience, she has expertise in all areas of Family Law.
Rita has been with the firm since 1997 having moved from Yorkshire, over the years, has built up a strong and effective team. Rita is a member of Resolution, an organisation that aims to resolve matters by conciliation, however, if this proves unsuccessful, Rita will not hesitate in pursuing the matter through the Courts to ensure a favourable outcome is achieved.
Rita has a particular interest in dealing with complicated financial separations.
Rita is married with two children.
Lynne Fantham
Lynne is a qualified Solicitor with over 10 years experience in Family Law.
Lynne has extensive knowledge in all types of family work with a particular interest in Children Act Proceedings.
Lynne also sits as a trustee for the Citizen Advice Bureau in the Charnwood Area and has strong local links.
Lynne is married , and has lived and worked in the area since qualifying.
Kelly Shaw
Kelly has been a member of the firm for 7 years and has worked in the department for nearly 5 years. She has a wealth of experience in Family Law. She speaks to clients on a daily basis to assist with queries and ensure a speedy progression of the case. Kelly has empathy and patience when dealing with clients and is always happy to help.
Marie Palmer
Marie has worked for the firm for a period of 9 years and has been a secretary in the Family Department for 5 years. She has worked in various areas of law but has a particular interest in Family Law. Having returned from maternity leave she now works as a Paralegal and is currently completing an ILEX Family Law and Practice Certificate course.
Marie enjoys interacting with clients and liaises with them on a daily basis to progress their case.
